Who I am:
Sharon Woodward an independent award winning filmmaker, project manager and media tutor. First break in television was in 1984 with the new Channel 4’s Eleventh Hour, Youth Series ‘Turn It Up’ . Went on to train at Newport Film School, The National Film and Television School and in the cutting rooms of  BBC Wales and Tyne Tees Television. Specialized from 2003 – 2010 in running media projects with young people with physical and learning disabilities. Works with corporate organizations, educational establishments, individuals and community groups with a particular interest in local history. Is a member of BECTU and The Society for Education and Training.

Amongst my film awards, are the SONY ERICSSON award for ‘Best Documentary’ the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy ‘Special Jury Award’, the Edinburgh Fringe Film and Video Festival ‘Critic’s Award’, David Altshul Award for Innovation and Creative Excellence in Film Making and the Chicago Film Festival ‘Certificate of Merit’ in honour and recognition of the production’s superior quality.
